Return & Refund Policy

At Mico Containers, we value your trust and strive to ensure every purchase you make with us meets your expectations. We are committed to providing high-quality new and used shipping containers and container solutions. However, we understand that situations may arise where you may need to return your purchase or request a refund.

This Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, how to initiate a return, and the timeframes involved.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, please note the following:

  • Returns must be requested within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.

  • The container or product must be in the same condition as when you received it, free of additional wear, alterations, or damage.

  • The item must be returned with all included accessories (locks, accessories, fittings, or documents).

  • Customized, modified, or made-to-order containers are non-returnable, unless there is a proven manufacturing defect or error on our part.


Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned due to their nature, including:

  • Custom-built or modified shipping containers

  • Clearance or discounted items sold as “final sale”

  • Containers that have been installed, relocated, or altered after delivery


Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email or phone call.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days and automatically applied to your original method of payment.

  • Refunds may take longer to appear on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Exchanges

We will gladly exchange items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • To qualify, you must notify our support team within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the damage or issue.

  • Replacement containers will be shipped or delivered as soon as possible, subject to availability.


Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our mistake (wrong item shipped, container arrived damaged, or quality issue), we will cover the full cost of return shipping.

  • If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Shipping containers are large and heavy items; therefore, the cost of return shipping can be significant. Please review your order carefully before confirming your purchase.


Steps to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact our Customer Support Team at support@micocontainers.com with your order number, details of the issue, and photos (if applicable).

  2. Our team will assess your request and provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions.

  3. Once approved, prepare the item for transport in its original condition and ensure safe loading.

  4. The item will be inspected upon arrival at our facility before the refund or exchange is processed.


Important Notes

  • Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser.

  • Delays caused by third-party shipping companies are not covered under this policy.

  • Containers purchased through financing or leasing agreements may be subject to additional terms set by the finance provider.
